Born in 1989-1996
Geared towards experienced mountain bikers looking to push their abilities and develop skills in freeride and downhill mountain biking. Riding will focus on safety, exploration, riding natural and man-made terrain, bike maintenance, bike control, jumping, trail etiquette, trail maintenance, self sufficiency and above all, FUN!
Participants must provide their own equipment (see list of required and suggested equipment below). Coaches will help make experienced decisions on what terrain is appropriate for individual athleteÕs abilities. All Coaches are First Aid certified and will have First Aid kits. Participants will travel in JHSC vehicles to/from riding venues. There will be optional overnight trips to other freeride/downhill venues. Participants will be required to donate time to building and maintaining the trails we use. Enrollment is limited, full-summer participants will have priority. | Program Fees: |
Full Summer - $890 (12 weeks, less thank $8.25 per hour!)
One Month - $335 (any 4 consecutive weeks, subject to availability)
Daily Drop-ins - Wednesdays: $35, Sundays: $70 (subject to availability)
Work Deposit - $50 for all Full Summer and Monthly participants. Deposit returned once athlete has participated in a local trail building/maintenance event.

| Meeting Place: |
Dependent on the riding venue (base of Snow King, outside Wilson Backcountry, outside Village CafŽ). A schedule will be posted closer to start of Program. |
Equipment: (mandatory & recommended) |
-Downhill / Freeride mountain bike (full-suspension cross country bikes will NOT work)
-Helmet mandatory (full-faced recommended)
-Knee/shin armor highly recommended
-Back/chest/arm/shoulder armor highly recommended
-Impact shorts with hip/thigh/chamois padding highly recommended
-Gloves mandatory
-Eye protection (goggles, sunglasses) mandatory
-Appropriate footwear mandatory
-Backpack with water, 2 spare tubes (that fit your tires), tools (specific for your bike) and snacks all mandatory
-A lunch or money for food is needed on Sundays
