SKATEBOARDING
Born in 1990-2001
This program is designed to give local skaters the chance to develop their skills and skate different spots both in and out of Jackon while having their abilites pushed by peers and experienced coaches. The Thrasher division is for older skaters who have a solid grasp of basic skateboard tricks and movement including the ability to roll up, over and down changes in pitch and transitions. The goal is to create an environment that emphasizes creativity and encourages development. Coaches will focus on creativity, safety, street and transition skating, skatepark etiquette and FUN!
We're offering three Summer sessions, each will meet twice per week for four weeks at local and regional skateparks and ramps. Single and multi-day roadtrips will be offered to explore skate spots in the surrounding region. Any Thrasher division skater from any session may participate in any trip (space is limited). All skaters must provide their own skateboards, helmets (mandatory) and safety equipment.
