Our Freeride Program offers skateboard camps throughout the summer. Skateboarding is an incredibly approachable sport and makes for great summer cross training for your skiers and snowboarders. It’s one of the most rapidly growing sports (now in the Olympics) and provides for a lifetime of community and growth. We’re lucky to have access to top skateparks in Jackson and the surrounding areas and experienced coaches to help guide your kids' progression.
For the first time this summer, we will be splitting our camps up into beginner and more advanced weeks.
Beginner Camps

Absolutely no experience required

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Ages 7 and up as of camp date
Skills Development Focus

Develop a comfort level of riding and pushing your skateboard the correct way

Create a baseline of fundamentals, including ollies, kickturns, tic-tacs, and dropping in

Skatepark etiquette

Staying in the flow of what can be a fast-paced, intimidating skatepark setting

Skateboard maintenance
Advanced Camps

Ages 11 and up as of camp date

Comfortable with riding your skateboard in a variety of of skatepark terrain

Locations: Jackson, Alpine, Driggs, Pinedale, &/or Idaho Falls skateparks. Transportation is provided in JHSC vehicles. Coaches and vehicles are fully insured.
All camps are coed and run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Camp 1 (Advanced) June 28 & 29

Camp 6 (Advanced / Intermediate) August 9 & 10. Montana overnight trip (meet & greet August August 8th) - Must have 10 participants to make this trip work. Ages 12 to 17 as of date of the camp.
Cost:
- $230 per camp. (no food included)
- $435 per overnight camp. (dinner, breakfast, and one lunch provided)
- Must have 10 participants for this camp to happen.
- Payment in full upon registration for all camps.
Refund Policy

Refund requests more than two weeks prior to the camp start date are eligible for a full refund (minus a 10% transaction fee).

Refund requests less than two weeks before the camp date are eligible for a 50% refund.

No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than one week before the camp date.

No refund for camp fees will be issued for injuries sustained during camp sessions.
-
Skateboard camp fees will be prorated if camp is partially or fully cancelled due to weather.

All refund requests must be submitted to both Skateboard Camp Coordinator and Freeride Program Director.
